Rossmoor Library

The Rossmoor Library offers fiction, nonfiction, videos and large-print books available to all Rossmoor residents.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, noon to 4:00 pm; Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Rossmoor Library catalog also has >200 books written by past or present Rossmoor residents available to be checked out. Stop by the PWR shelf (see picture) to find something interesting to read, including fiction and nonfiction.

Rossmoor Library Policies Regarding Books by PWR Authors

There is limited space for PWR authors’ books in our Rossmoor Library. The librarian concentrates on procuring books that are of general interest to our particular population and there isn’t enough space to display all our authors’ books. Books that have been in the collection before 2012 are gradually being weeded out to make room for new books. The books that are removed are placed on the “free cart.”

The library will only accept books published within the previous two years. Authors wishing to donate their books to the Rossmoor collection should contact Mary Stephenson, PWR’s library contact, at jgsteph@comcast.net . This will insure proper transfer of their books to the collection.

Neither the library nor PWR will accept any financial responsibility for donated or displayed books that are damaged or lost.
